Book Review: The Chasm

Posted: February 18, 2011 in Uncategorized

I received a copy of the book: The Chasm: A Journey to the Edge of Life by Randy Alcorn from Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group for review.

I’m going to start off by saying this is a book that I would recommend for someone who is in their late teens or older.  There is a story on Lust and Sin and may not be handled well by a younger audience.

In this book the man, Nick Seagrave is cast in a shadow that can’t be seen but can see his mistakes as others watch too of his lust for women/sin.  Nick travels along the way with these sins which eventually lead him to a Chasm,  where only Joshua can show him the way across.

Does Nick take the plunge and follow Joshua or does he choose the lifestyle of Sin?  Read this book and find out.  It’s a great read, with several illustrations throughout the book.

You would be able to read this book in probably about 1-2 hours time straight through.

It deserves at least 4 stars out of 5 based on the story line and how quickly it reads.  I would have given it 5 had it been a book that I could recommend for any age level.

Please Rank my review by the link below. Thank you.

I just got this book to review too. I look forward to reading it this weekend. =)
I still can’t believe it isn’t to be released for sale until a month from now. o.o
