Book Review: Dragons of the Valley

Posted: February 1, 2011 in Uncategorized

I had the chance to review a copy of Dragons of the Valley by Donita K. Paul.   I have to say, if you are a sci-fi fan or an RPG (Role Playing Games) fan, you will probably enjoy this book.

The story takes place in a land called Chiril.  This peaceful land becomes war threatened quickly.  Tipper Schope is given the task of keeping three statues from being taken by an enemy that is pretty powerful.  One of her friends, Bealomondore, gets involved and helps her with her plan.

Along the way they encounter a creature known as the Grawl who wreaks havoc in Chiril.

Tipper and the rest of the gang who join her need to hide the statues.  They choose the Valley of the Dragons.  Along the way, Tipper’s friend, Bealomodorem learns to brandish a sword instead of a paint brush (his chosen profession) and help in the battle like no other.

This book was given to me by WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.

  1. Thank you for the review. I enjoyed the characters in this book. Lady Peg was my favorite and helped me laugh away some frustration.

  2. […] You can read my other review of the second book here: Dragons Of The Valley […]
