Book Review – Out Live Your Life by Max Lucado

Posted: September 10, 2010 in Uncategorized

In his latest book “Out Live Your Life”, Max Lucado challenges us all to make a difference in this world.

Each chapter has a story that is so richly told by Max about how people have lived their life and how we can live our life to the fullest by passionately giving of our selves through time, resources, and more.

At the end of each chapter Max gives us a prayer that we can pray and share with the world.  He has also included some questions at the end of the book for each chapter to make you think about what you just read, and how you can apply it directly to your lives.

Max teaches us throughout the book to stand up for the have-nots and help them out.

I truly believe that you will be touched by the words and feel the urge to get out and make a difference in this world.  “Don’t write off anyone” as we are told.

We are all given a choice to bring hope to the world.  That is our calling.

This book is an easy read, and once you pick it up you won’t put it down until you have read through it.  You may even pick up every now and then as a gentle reminder to continue to bring that hope to the world!
