Blinkers are not optional, and other things…

Posted: October 23, 2008 in Uncategorized

OK.  For those of you who drive, please start using your blinkers!  You did not have a choice of not having them on your car and saving some money from the dealer when you purchased the car.

When you go to take a turn, it seems like it’s only common sense to let those of us approaching you from either direction to know where the heck you are going.

Also, once you have made your turn, please check your signal light and make sure it turned off.  Those of you, and you know who you are, that drive down the road for miles and miles going straight, with that signal light on, are just plain annoying!  We never know when you are going to turn, and you make it very hazardous for traffic coming and going in all lanes!

Also, if you need an oil change, just do it!  Nothing is more exhausting to the lungs, then sucking up your smoke from your tailpipe since you did not change your oil.  Also, it may just make your car last a little longer.  After all, isn’t it cheaper to get an oil change every three months or three thousand miles then to buy a new engine or car because you burned the engine up?

The last thing I would like to address, is, if you have a cell phone, please consider pulling over to talk on it, or God forbid, text on it!  You are an accident waiting to happen.  Would you like to be the cause of MURDER?  It can happen, it’s just a matter of time.

OK.  Now I have said my peace about some things with vehicles, now, have a nice day.

  1. wowzers… those are some opinions. I must say that I don’t use my blinker every time. No need sometimes. Do you talk to someone if no one is around? And with three kids talking in the car is the only time I have them strapped down. 🙂 I guess some people just have different opinions. H

LOL…I don’t know how you do it with three kids and driving at the same time Heather. I have the utmost respect for you 🙂
