I am sitting here right now watching a DVRed episode of The Next Food Network Star. It’s pretty amazing that all these people signed up to do this “gig”, but some of them have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing.
I am a little confused as to how these people actually get chosen?
To me, if you don’t know how to do some basic tasks as cleaning and filleting a fish, then you should not be on this show.
Now, let me point to a friend named Tracy. She told me once that she does not cook and wants to learn. I would recommend Food Network to her. I just hope she is not watching this show too.
A Little Peek Into My World 
I did not watch the show but I am going to learn how to cook. I am not sure that will include filleting a fish though. Can’t they do that at the grocery store for you????/
LOL..Yes, you can buy it like that at the store, but it’s much more fun to do it yourself, then you get the whole piece of the fish without any thing wasted, unless you have a good butcher, that knows somethign about filleting. 🙂
