A lady named Marge…

Last night, I was at rehearsal in our Mebane church office, and was happy to see our resident artist , Marge!  Marge is a lady who always attends every Mebane rehearsal for the upcoming Sunday service.  She does not play an instrument, but uses a different instrument after each rehearsal.

Marge shares her love of the word and a devotional each time with those of us who will be on the worship arts team for Mebane each week.

Last night Marge shared a little bit of time to talk to us about the series we just finishing studying called “Prayer” by Philip Yancey.  Each one of gathered at the table in the office and shared what our small groups did during that series.

Then we all had a chance to give up to God a prayer request.  Even the younger folks who were there joined in.  Kids are amazing!  They humbly asked for prayers of older folks they knew who were in some serious needs of prayer.  It even brought a tear to my eye when they were asking.

At the end, Marge led us in prayer and asked that our prayers be answered.  I’m telling you, this is another lady who is fully devoted to being a Disciple for God!

God bless you Marge!  You are another inspiration in my life!
